Summer Masterclass 2016
Each summer Charlie-Jade takes a limited number of 11-16 year old students for a two day Musical Theatre Acting Through Song Masterclass in London. Each student is given a solo song and a duet with another student to work on as well as going on a trip to see a West End show. Last year we went to see Into The Woods. Here's what the students thought:
As well as a working performer, Charlie-Jade is an experienced singing teacher, vocal coach and workshop facilitator. She has worked extensively with secondary schools and part time theatre schools teaching both children and adults, preparing many children for drama school and West End auditions.
She currently teaches singing and musical theatre performance at Pure Rhythm School of Performing Arts where she Musically Directed their 2016 production of 'Alice In Wonderland' and is currently Musical Director of 'Honk!'. Charlie-Jade holds a singing teaching position with Haringey Music Service as well as running her own private tuition service. Students have recently joined the West End casts of Thriller Live and Memphis.
Charlie-Jade holds an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts Teaching as well as the LRAM diploma in singing teaching which she studied at the Royal Academy of Music under the teaching of Mary Hammond. Charlie-Jade is fully DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid trained.
